Visual explosion on friday dec 14 in Utrecht (NL). One night and one space to use all the beamers you can get your hands on and transform an empty space into an exhibition like you’ve never experienced before. Netherlands video art organizations SETUP, Liefhebber and FIBER gather all their powers for a joint Bring Your Own Beamer.

The name says it all: Grab all your projectors and bring them to the old industrial hangar of ‚NUtrecht‘ at the Cartesiusweg in Utrecht, right next to trainstation ‘Zuilen’, making it easily accessible by train! Beginning at 16:30 with building up, together we will change this huge and usually unused hall into a one-night-pop-up video art exhibition starting at 19h till late.
BYOB will be an experimental evening with a selection of various artists, cultural institutions, galleries, college students and collectors of film and video showing their own art. Besides this, everyone else is invited to show any kind of video work and display this in acompletely new context, through and over each other. You’re free to choose whatever work it is you want to present. DIY, One-Night, Video, Interaction, Trial-and-Error.
