Etienne De Crecy – Hypercube
a bit old now (from 2008), but still probably the most awesome and straight forward mapping installation is the „hypercube“, realised by François Wunschel and Pierre Schneider, co-founders of Paris based EXYZT collective, for the audiovisual live show of Étienne de Crécy. The hypercube is a 6×6 metre cube mapped with monochrome 3D visuals, referring to early computer 8bit graphics from the 70ies. With this style the visuals are in a perfect harmony with to the concept of machine poetry and electronic machine music by Étienne de Crécy. Don´t you think?
